I Need You Now - B-listed!

Last week the most influential radiostation in the UK; BBC Radio 1 added "I Need You Now" to their playlist wich is devided into 3 categorys C, B & A. This week it climbs up to the B-list from the C-list. A-list next week? -Yes please! The musicvideo is being played regularly on UK tv-channels & the song is on the Music Weeks Playlist also. It´s also aviable to pre-order on UK-itunes.
The song has really grown on me, i´m hoping for real chart success alá "Release Me". To Be Continued!

The Dome

"The Dome" is a german tv-program & musicevent, produced & broadcasted by RTL 2. 4 times per year a new show is recorded in an event hall in different cities in Germany & Austria. Both national & international artists gets to perform their most recent songs in front of a crowd of 5000 - 15.000. Additionally, a compilation album is released when a new episode of "The Dome" is broadcasted. "The Dome" is europes biggest music event compared to the Eurovision Song Contest, according to the producers.
Agnes will feature the 52nd show on 20th November, with other acts like; Cascada, Scooter, DJ Ötzi and more. "The Dome 52" will be held in Stadthalle Graz, Austria. US: Agnes Live @ Borderline Music

Conquering the US

Agnes is still in the US on her promotour. She´s been playing in several clubs, in Boston, New York & Chicago today. And this last sunday Agnes performed at an event in Las Vegas. It was Closet Sundays that celebrated a one year anniversary. It were held at the Beatles Revolution Lounge, in the Mirage Hotel. The host were Khloe Kardashian who had invited Agnes to perform.

Beyoncé, you better watch out!

Agnes has also taken part in US television, were she visited Fox´s "Good Day New York", this past thursday.
Whilst Agnes is creating quite the buzz in US, she is also mentioned a lot in swedish press these last days. The swedish media has reported diligent about Agnes success in the US. This is quite remarkable, since the swedish press always has been negative to idol winners, claiming that the runner-ups always gets more success, wich obviously is wrong - at least in Agnes case.

Last week "Release Me" was at #2 in the US hot dance/club songs chart, and this week it managed to take the 1st place! How amazing is this? REALLY amazing! And with the clubtour just started things are looking very good for Agnes in the US!

"I Need You Now" has finally been playlisted on UK´s most important radiochannel, BBC Radio 1.
It´s on the C-list, wich is a good start but i hope it´ll climb to the A-list soon. The musicvideo is at least getting some airplay.

7 weeks ago "Release Me" entered the billboard top50 hot dance/club songs chart at #38, the following weeks she climbed; #24 - #18 - #11 - #9 - #6 - #5 - and this week at #2!!!
Their hope of getting a buzz in the clubs has really worked out fantastic, next move will be to get Radio & Tv airplay. Agnes will go to US this month to do loads of radio interviews and clubgigs.
And with the new "Release Me" musicvideo out, Agnes is about to conquer the US!

New DLP cover - cancelled

I´ve posted news about a new cover for the dutch release of "Dance Love Pop", this has now been cancelled for the original cover. According to the dutch recordcompany WhiteVilla, it was beacuse Agnes management ordered it. Maybe that was because all the bad critic it got? Well either way, the original cover is just fine!

Agnes won the category, "Best Swedish Act" in the EMA´s! Good job everybody that voted, and now it´s time to vote again. I Need You Now video - on the way!

Agnes has shooted the musicvideo for "I Need You Now" in Los Angeles, US. The video will hit UK Television this weekend, how exciting! Scandipop writes:

"….she drives around the desert in a space age type car, then runs off with a gentleman on horseback, and still manages to change her frock three times!

The dresses;

• Silver body suit with knee high leather boots
• Baby blue and torquoise flowing chiffon dress, with a lengthy trail which gets on swimmingly with the wind machine

In the column to the right, you can see all upcoming releases & events with Agnes, that i know of.
Tonight Agnes will do a show in Olso, Norway; NRJ At The Club, at the hardrock Café.
On friday she will go to Germany to perform at a tv-show called
"Yes We Can Dance", wich is broadcasted live on Sat1, 20.15!


Also on friday, the 3rd single in Holland will be released; "I Need you Now", as a download. Then on next friday it will be out as a Cd-single. As i posted yesterday the album will be out 23rd October. While we´re waiting for "On And On" to be released in Belgium, they are on the 18th & 19th releasing 2 parts of "Release Me" - Remixes! Aviable to pre-order on Amazon!


On 16th November the follow-ups in France & Uk will be released. France gets "On And On", while UK+Ireland gets "I Need You Now". The UK releasedate for "Dance Love Pop" is set for 7th December. Australia will also get "I Need You Now" as the 2nd single. Keep checking this site for future Agnes - releases & events!

Dance Love Pop - New cover!

That´s a fierce cover, don´t you think?

"Dance Love Pop" has got a brand new cover for the release in Holland, 23rd October. This will probably also be the cover used in UK, and other future countries.
First "Release Me" got a new cover, then "On And On" and now "Dance Love Pop".
But that´s not so strange since the other photos were from a photoshoot taken in early 2008.
I had a poll earlier about "Dance Love Pop" and if it should get a new cover or not, wich were pretty close. I love the
original cover, but i think this is even better! The picture of Agnes is one of the hottest ever, and the gold text is real Agnes-style. Notice; "New songs, remixes & bonustracks"!
How exciting!

Dance Love Pop (Deluxe Version)

"Dance Love Pop" is released in Germany, Switzerland & Austria today. It´s a deluxe version, with 1 brand new track, a ballad called "You Rain". It also features an up-tempo version of "Big Blue Wall", see the full tracklist here.
The leadsingle "Release Me" has been a big hit in all 3 countries. Yesterday it went up to #3 at German Itunes, and is right now sitting at #5. It´s also climbing fast in the airplay charts, at #17 in all 3 countries this week.
On Itunes the album is right now on #66 in Switzerland, #50 in Austria and #33 in Germany.
Earlier this week, the album were released in Finland & Norway. It´s also been released in Belgium, Italy, Poland, Denmark & France. It´ll be released in Holland next (this month) & Ireland+UK 7th December.
