When You tell the World You´re Mine

On Saturday Agnes´performed a new song called "When You Tell The World You´re Mine" as a duet with Bjorn Skifs, at Sweden´s Crown Princess Victorias wedding! The song is written by Jorgen Elofsson & John Lundvik, and was a gift to Victoria from Prince Daniel. The single is part of the official wedding series. The album with the studio version, the live version & the instrumental version + other wedding songs is on the album "When You tell The World You´re Mine" exclusively being sold in Sweden at ICA, starting today! Part of the takings will go to the Crown Princess´s wedding foundation, wich purpose is to counteract exclusion and promote good health amongst children and youth in Sweden. The single is also aviable as a download across Europe on Itunes! In Sweden the song is already #1 on Itunes, congratulations to Bjorn & Agnes! Download it from Itunes.

Germany: Gay Games VIII Cologne 2010

On July 31st the Gay Games VIII Cologne 2010 will have it´s opening ceremony at the RheinEnergieStadion. Over 10,000 athletes from 70 different countries will participate.
Agnes will both take part at the Opening Ceremony and also be one of the performing artists at the opening party in the Lanxess Arena. Agnes´ 2nd single in Germany, "On And On" were released a couple weeks ago, and has so far peaked at #41 in the singleschart. It haven´t been getting much radio support so far, and is nowhere to see in the German Itunes top 200 at the moment..
"Release Me" sold over 150.000 copies, giving it a gold certificate in Germany! Read more about the opening ceremony here.

Sweden: Agnes sings at royal wedding!

Next Saturday on June 19th, there´s a royal wedding in Agnes´ home country, Sweden. It´s the crown princess Victoria & her husbend to be, Daniel, who´s getting married. This is a HUGE deal in Sweden, every media is watching everything about it like hawks. Everything about the wedding ceremony, is top secret, but today some news leaked to the Swedish media. Agnes will perform a duett with Bjorn Skifs in the church on the actual wedding ceremony! They will perform a newly written song, by Jorgen Elofsson, who also worked with Agnes on her debut album. The song is said to be a powerful loveballad, something in "Beyoncé style". It will aslo be released on CD after the wedding. Stay tuned for more info. How exciting!

Yesterday Agnes attended the 3rd  annual "NewNowNext Awards" held at The Edison on June 8, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. Agnes also performed live at the award show. The show will be aired on June 17th at LOGO. Check out some photos below!
